Which Wood is Right For My Pizza Oven?
Cooking in a pizza oven is an experience like no other. We love the thrill of seeing the temperature hit 500ºc and the smell of a sizzling, freshly cooked pizza as it comes out of the oven
But your wood-fired oven is only as good as the wood you put in it, so you need to make sure you've got the right fuel for your appliance!
With so many different models out there, it can be hard to know what you need to buy - does your pizza oven need pizza logs, thicker logs, kindling, pellets or even a mix of two or three?
We've done the hard word and created fuel kits for every type of wood-fired pizza oven. Find your brand and model in the table below and we'll tell you which is right for you

Some pizzaiolos have personal preferences on which species of wood to burn in their pizza oven. We've tested most species of hardwood and believe that the most important qualities are the thickness of the wood and the moisture content, rather the species so most of our boxes are mixed species
All of our logs and kindling are Woodsure certified 'Ready to Burn' with less than 20% moisture content. All of our pellets are less than 10% moisture content.
