Sometime in 2025 I saw someone online looking for testers for a prototype pizza oven, made right here in the UK... it sounded a bit of me, so I popped the guys a message and went on with my day.

A couple of weeks later I was standing in the car park at Rugby services chatting to Abi, who runs marketing for Firebrand and who had said pizza oven in the back of her van. After chatting all things pizza, we loaded up and off we went - and the prototype has been in our garden ever since.

We already have a British-built oven and it's an absolute tank, so I had really high hopes for the Firevore and couldn't wait to put it through it's paces. But for the first few months, there it sat through a truly awful, wet winter... then finally, come about April, I was able to get fully stuck in, and I've been using the oven roughly weekly ever since.
