Plates became the first plant-based restaurant in the UK to win a Michelin Star, less than 18 months after opening their doors.

Blackfriars, Newcastle

Blackfriars is set within a 13th-century former Dominican friary. Established in 1239, over the years Blackfriars has expanded from the friar’s refectory dining room to almost all the remaining claustral out-buildings and today boasts a Banquet Hall, Parlour Bar, Cookery School and Tasting Room.


Chris Wardale oversees all menus and catering operations for Blackfriars. Chris loves taking wholesome North East food and updating it with a new twist, often supplementing with foraged ingredients.


Blackfriars runs barbecue events all through the spring & summer, using fire to unlock even more flavour from wonderful local produce.

Soul Dough, Somerset

Soul Dough was born from Edd's passion for all things dough based, kick ass trucks, wood fired cooking and making people happy through the love of quality wood fired pizza.


Their dough is all made in house and every single pizza is hand stretched, with a focus on sourcing ingredients from local producers.


With one look at their EPIC converted Land Rover Defender with Dragon oven, you know it's going to be a serious pizza!


Edd's a busy guy, running pop-ups, weddings and a permanent residency at the wonderful Pelican, a 400-year-old pub in the heart of Chew Magna, Somerset.

Salsa Rose, London

A female led, East London based events and catering company offering a one stop shop for incredible food, delicious drinks, fantastic service, full planning support and event design.


Salsa Rose cater for everything including wedding feasts, luxurious canapé & cocktail parties and delicious corporate lunches.


"Fireboy" is their asado catering offering. From flatbreads to smoked fish to whole asado lamb, Salsa Rose can create a feast over fire to feed a crowd. A favourite at weddings and outdoor events, fireboy brings a bit of theatre and excitement to your dining experience.


Based in London and with limited space for storage of bulk wood, the convenience of our boxed offering suits them perfectly.

Pizza 51, Knighton

Morgan Davies exploded on to the pizza scene in 2023, taking second place in our competition, The UK's Best Home Pizza Chef.


Following the competition Morgan wasted no time launching a permanent residency at The Golden Lion, a family-run, independent pub.


Hand-stretching his 24-hour Neapolitan dough, Morgan offers either classic pizzas with quality ingredients, or more unusual and bold flavours.


"When I launched Pizza 51, I hadn’t realised how much the right wood - properly seasoned and prepped for a pizza oven - matters. I bounced from one supplier to another, constantly dealing with inconsistent burns and wasting money on pizza briquettes just trying to keep the fire steady. Then I found Love Logs.
