If you live in one of the smoke controlled areas of Birmingham, please check your councilâs specific regulations before burning firewood.Â
In general, firewood can only be burned in an Eco-design âExempt Applianceâ in smoke control areas. Most log burners fitted in the last 5 â 6 years are Eco-design but itâs worth checking before burning to avoid a fine!Â
