British Wild Cherry Charcoal
Cherry charcoal is pretty rare, as it's only typically felled in mixed loads.
Cherry charcoal burns with a delicate sweet smell, just like cherry wood, and it's so special we typically use it on its own - without adding smoking wood. As a light timber the cherry charcoal is also light, which means 6kg fills our bags almost to bursting point - so you get more by volume than our other single species charcoals.
All of our British lumpwood charcoal is restaurant grade, meaning there are no additives or binders - it's clean enough to cook right on the coals!
A great quality product isn't enough, we also wanted our charcoal to do good. For every bag of British Wild Cherry Charcoal sold we donate a meal to a child facing hunger at school via our partnership with Magic Breakfast .
Why Buy British Charcoal?
When cooking over fire, fuel is your most important ingredient! British Charcoal is chemical free, cleaner burning and much better for the environment than the imported bags of charcoal you buy from the supermarket
